Happy 2023 from Streamable!

On behalf of the whole Streamable team, happy new year! We wish you a great 2023, hitting your goals for yourself and your business! At Streamable, we’ve been making a bunch of ‘under the hood’ updates to Streamable to make it faster and more reliable. But in 2023, we have a big year planned and you’ll start seeing some new features and functionality to make it easier to get your video out to your audience.

You may have noticed some new (and old?) features in the last month on the site:

Uploading without an account is back!

If you’re an old school (🦖) Streamable user, you’ll remember a time when you could easily upload, clip, and share a video from Streamable without even needing to register for an account. This feature is back with a bit of a remix to make it easier to get started sharing video.

As a new customer or a signed out customer, simply drag and drop your video for upload and your video will be hosted for 24 hours as a guest user. If you already have a Streamable account, sign-in to have the video added to your account or create a new account to keep your video up beyond the 24 hour guest limit.

Remember, guest uploaded videos still need to follow our community guidelines even if they’re only up for 24 hours.

Saving you time - drag and drop videos onto the Streamable homepage

Just before the holidays we updated the Streamable.com homepage to let you drag and drop your videos directly onto the page to upload video right away. No more clicks to get to your dashboard - but make sure you sign in after uploading to keep your videos hosted!
