Advanced video privacy settings

Streamable just enhanced its video privacy features - giving you more control over who can access your video and where those people can view your video.
What video privacy settings are there?
Streamable supports multiple types of video privacy and access to keep you in control of your content:
Video visibility: This setting controls if your video is published for viewers. This can be set to 'Public', 'Private', or 'Hidden on Streamable.'
- Public videos are viewable via embeds on your website and via the streamable.com share link.
- Private videos are not published and can only be viewed by the uploader. You must be signed in to your Streamable account to view these videos and cannot share them.
- Hidden on Streamable videos do not have a streamable.com sharing link. You can still embed these videos on other websites using Streamable's embedding features.
Domain privacy: This allows you to restrict embedding your video to a specific domain (e.g. mywebsite.com) so that your embedded video will only load if it is being viewed on a website of your choosing.
Password protection: Add a password to your video and require viewers to enter the password before they can see your video
Allow downloading: This setting allows you to toggle on or off download links on the Streamable video page.
Allow sharing: This setting allows you to toggle on or off the share video features on the Streamable video page.

Account vs. Video privacy settings
Streamable's video privacy settings are configurable for your account and for individual videos.
To set account level privacy settings, simply update your settings here: https://streamable.com/settings. Account level settings apply to all of your videos in your account unless the videos have custom privacy settings already configured.
Video-specific privacy settings are available in the 'More' drop-down menu on a video, under the 'Privacy' option. These settings will only apply to the video that you selected to edit privacy settings. Please note that video-specific privacy settings override your account-level settings.
Premium privacy settings
Some of the video privacy settings at the video and the account level are restricted to Basic or Pro customers. You can start a 7-day free trial at any time to experiment with some of the premium privacy settings on Streamable.
